John Thune told President-elect Trump to stay out of Senate leadership election. John Thune is a never-Trumper. He declared on TV that Trump had no chance to win in 2024. He supported Hillary in 2016. Gasp!
Pence supported and congratulated Thune – that should tell you everything you need to know about Thune. If that is not enough, Chuck Schumer is elated by John Thune’s election as Majority Leader.
He sides with Ukraine money laundering. He sides against incarcerated J6ers. He supports their prosecution. John Thune protected Mike Pence's unconstitutional delivery of the presidency to Joe Biden.
He denies election fraud. He pushes Red Flag Gun Laws. He attended WEF meeting in Davos in 2016. He supported and defended the corrupt Mueller Investigations.
He called for Trump to step down in his first term. He is generally perceived as a RINO NeoCon traitor. Liberty Score gives him an “F.”

However, new Senate Majority Leader John Thune immediately vowed to ram through Trump’s cabinet nominees “quickly” so they can “begin to implement Trump’s agenda.”

IN CONTROL
With Trump elected president with a Republican Senate, it means that they can confirm, without any Democratic votes, any appointment he makes to his Cabinet, to the government, and to the Supreme Court.
Well, if RINOs do not kill the deal.
If they try, Trump can adjourn both Houses of Congress under Article II, section 3, and then recess-appoint his Cabinet. There will be no obstruction of his cabinet picks.
That means Justice Clarence Thomas, who is likely retire from the Supreme Court, could leave a vacancy for a lifetime Judicial Appointment for the Senate to confirm.
Trump will get his 4th SCOTUS pick.
Can Alito and Sotomayor hang on? Or will Trump get to replace them too?
What if that had been Hillary? We dodged a deadly bullet by the grace of God.
There is the possibility here of a complete, united Republican government with Donald Trump as the President and with a Republican House and Senate, which means that in terms of appointments, in terms of immigration policy, economic policy, environmental policy, you name it, he could have a pretty blank check.
