A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit the entire island of Taiwan, the strongest quake to hit the country in 25 years. Over 900 people have been injured and 9 have died as a result of the disaster so far. Dozens of aftershocks were recorded following a wave of powerful earthquakes.
Rescue operations are underway as over 26 buildings collapsed. The earthquake also triggered a tsunami that washed ashore on southern Japanese islands.
Almost immediately after the earthquake, Chinese PLA forces launched significant military operations in the Taiwan Strait, with 30 aircraft and 9 vessels being detected by ROC forces. Planes flew over Taiwan. This was almost certainly to test the reaction time and capabilities of ROC forces during a crisis.
Here is how it will likely affect us and the world immediately. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the world’s largest maker of advanced chips, halted some chip-making machinery and evacuated staff.
Taiwanese firms from TSMC to United Microelectronics Corp. and ASE Technologies make the vast majority of the semiconductors that go into devices from iPhones to cars. A single vibration can destroy entire batches of the precision-made semiconductors.
It seems convenient that this massive earthquake just so happens to come as tensions continue to rise between the US, China, and Taiwan.
Many are suspecting HAARP weapons. HAARP is trending on X. Only US HAARP is capable of causing artificially induced disturbances in tectonic plates.
Our HAARP ships were in Turkey’s ports as the Turkish earthquake occurred.
Just say’n! I know I am speculating above my pay grade. But, I am taking nothing at face value these days.
Either way, this is looking more serious by the day.
The US Navy has maintained a continuous big deck presence east of Taiwan since January, rotating carrier strike groups and ARGs. Beijing ramped up military activity this month, launching air and naval exercises and sending warships around Taiwan - a growing trend.
